Nawaraj Subba of Biratnagar has added yet another Ghazal music album ‘Lukeko Rahar’ (The Hidden Wishes) in the floods of the Gazals.

‘Lukeko Rahar’, his third album was jointly released by legendary lyricists and singers Ratna Shumsher Thapa, Kiran Kharel, Kali Prasad Rijal, and Prem Dhoj Pradhan and prose writer Parsu Pradhan at a function in the capital Wednesday.

After releasing the album, lyricist Ratna Shumsher Thapa appreciated Subba for bringing the album. “Subba has selected right words and put them in the right places while maintaining deepness of the meanings,” Thapa said.

He further said that Subba’s ghazals were impressive. Lyricist Kiran Kharel said, “His ghazals are simple and heart touching.”

Senior musician Shakti Ballav has composed the music for ghazals which were sung by Narendra Pyasi, Jagdish Samal, Suresh Manandhar, Anju Pant, Sishir Yogi, Sumit Khadka, Sworupraj Acharya, Mandavi Tripathi and Bhim Chapagai.

Lyricist Kali Prasad Rijal and prose writer Parsu Pradhan also highlighted various aspects of Subba’s lyrics. Earlier, Subba had released Pratibimba and Desh Ko Maya.

“I have written these lyrics dedicating to the old aged people,” said lyricist Subba. Nine songs Timilai Maya…, Jali Maya…, Sakshi Chaina…, Dui Dinko Chola…, Mero Euta Ghar…, Mera Sabai…, Tyo Mrituko…, Deuralima… and Kati Sunka Kura…are included in his new album.
