Beyond the Horizon: An Investigation into the Thought Process of Dr. Nawa Raj Subba – One of the Leading Nepali Researchers-Writers.

Nothing can be said about Dr. Nawa Raj Subba, who can be called the rare combination of scientific rigour and indigenous soul. As a well-known Nepali researcher and writer, he has had a career spanning more than five decades of literary production and 35 years of active work in the Nepal Ministry of Health. By holding a PhD in Health Psychology and a master’s in both Public Health and Nepali Literature, Dr. Subba can give us a dual viewpoint: to interpret the contemporary human condition as a clinician and, as a philosopher, to reclaim the ancient wisdom of the Himalayas.

His work, which is based in the cultural centre of Biratnagar, serves as an essential contact point between the demands of the 21st-century analytical world and the primordial oral tradition of the Mundhum. Be it the diagnosis of the invisible burdens of the health of the people or the production of a soulful patriotic anthem, the production of Dr. Subba is rooted in the fact that the health of a nation cannot be separated from its cultural identity.
